By downloading, accessing, or using the QUEXXEN™ mobile application, website, or related services (“QUEXXEN,” “the App,” “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Non-Emergency Use & Important Disclaimer
QUEXXEN is a non-emergency trusted-connection platform designed to support awareness, presence, and personal coordination during exigent or uncertain situations.
QUEXXEN does NOT:
Replace 911, emergency services, police, campus safety, or medical providers
Guarantee intervention, rescue, or outcomes
Function as an emergency response system
If you are in immediate danger or require emergency assistance, contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Eligibility
QUEXXEN is intended for users who are legally able to consent to data processing.
Users under the age of 18 may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing any required consent and overseeing use of the App.
By permitting a minor to use QUEXXEN, the parent or legal guardian represents that they consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
4. User Accounts
You agree to:
Provide accurate and current information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
QUEXXEN reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Intended Use & Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the App for illegal, deceptive, or harmful purposes
Misrepresent emergencies or impersonate others
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service
QUEXXEN may restrict or remove access for violations.
6. Features & Communications
QUEXXEN may include:
Location sharing
Voice and/or video communication
Media uploads
Group alerts and notifications
You acknowledge that:
Delivery of notifications or messages is not guaranteed
Connectivity depends on third-party services, networks, and devices
7. Institutional & Group Use
Institutions, organizations, or group administrators may manage multiple users. QUEXXEN is not responsible for internal enforcement, supervision, or policies of third-party organizations.
8. No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
QUEXXEN makes no warranties regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QUEXXEN and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
Personal injury, loss, or damages
Failure to receive alerts or communications
Acts or omissions of other users or third parties
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the previous 12 months.
10. Termination
QUEXXEN may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations, misuse, or legal compliance.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of QUEXXEN constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
